Harmonizing traditional glassmaking skills with the latest technology, Riedel Vitis Wine Glass stems are literally pulled from the bowl as they are being made, creating a beautifully smooth transition from bowl to base. This technique results in a much stronger glass as only one joint; between stem and foot is needed.

Riedel Vitis Wine Glasses, as with all Riedel glasses, are designed to emphasize and complement the characteristics of each of the main grape varieties.

The Riedel Vitis Wine Glasses for red wine are characterized by their rounder, wider bowl, which gives the wine a chance to breathe. The Riedel Vitis Wine Glasses for white wine are generally narrower, although not as narrow as Champagne flutes that have somewhat straight or tulip-shaped sides.
